I want to know how to play leads over chord tones and chord changes and how to create interesting fills like mark knofler’s fills in sultans of swing. I know what he’s doing I don’t know how to create such interesting fills that fit so perfectly

There is something I really would like and that is a diagram of the whole guitar neck, frets & strings showing each note so I can print out & have in front of me so that I can transfer piano sheet music notes straight onto the guitar. I play piano & can read sheet music, i cannot play by ear. Would much appreciate this, Thanks. Em.

The one thing I need in my learning of the guitar is DIRECTION! I have seen so many websites and free courses that your brain gets overloaded in no time flat!! JB’s courses seem to fit the bill so I’ll stick with these, keep practising scales and chords and learning the basic music theory so that I can make sense of, and put to good use, what I learn doing scales and chords!
