Guitar Girl Plays Doobie Bros

Check out this young lass, Su, Jamming to the Doobie Brothers classic hit “Listen to the Music”.
This is a good video showing her hands quite clearly. Note her use of the Jimi Hendrix chord E7#9 and the Emaj pentatonic scale with some extras tossed in. Strumming/picking bit suspect, but it works with what she’s doing.

not really suspect eh? good steady rhythm & funky, articulate picking not required in this piece surely ?

Absolutely Great! When your eyes are wide shut and you just sit back and listen… there is nothing suspect about it.

There’s something “genetic” about yound women from Asia, they have extraordinary skill for their age playing Guitar. Yes, a really generalised comment, and please no bad intent at all, in fact just the opposite
I believe it’s from starting at a young age, and discipline. I base this observation upon browsing Youtube for years and stumbling upon some very talented young women.
