I thought I was the only person in Alan holdsworth !
Early to Mid 1970’s in Britain were an amazing time for music, light classical and Jazz flirted with Rock music in a fusion of what I called at the time Avante Garde Rock. Robert Wyatt was in Soft Machine also, a very eclectic Vocalist, I’ve just dug up on Youtube (What an amazing resource that is !). Alan Holdsworth is such a wonderful player, he’s so challenging to listen to .
I’m finding this period of Music, mainly from Britain, but also from the U.S. in the Jazz Rock genre, is very much a part of what I call my “Culture”. Music has changed so much, brilliant to be able to watch the clips like this !
